Our Sweet Forever Baby
Lucy is our 21-year-old sweet girlie with profound disabilities. As she is nonverbal and bedbound, she is generally cooperative with care. Lucy has a quiet and sweet temperament. She lives in our certified family home, where she receives around-the-clock assistance and nursing oversight.
Her daily routine is calm and predictable, centered on comfort, dignity, and the clinical care she needs. We share only what is appropriate—Lucy's privacy is respected, and detailed medical information is discussed with qualified applicants.
A family that speaks fluent nurse.
Lucy's mother, Elisa, is both a registered nurse and a family nurse practitioner. She is a fierce advocate for Lucy's needs and for the proper compensation of her caregivers based on their training and education. Our family is committed to providing or orchestrating excellent care while keeping Lucy at home indefinitely. You'll be joining a family that understands nursing, values clinical excellence, and treats caregivers with respect.

Although frequently, Lucy's days may follow a variation on a theme of a calm, predictable rhythm, there is always something new about her plan of care or presentation to keep things interesting. Our nursing and support and spending goals for Lucy are centered on her comfort, her contribution to her own care insofar as she is able, and clinical needs. A more detailed overview of her routine is shared with qualified applicants during orientation. We're happy to answer your questions as part of the application process.
